Frequently Asked Questions

1. When should i book my baby's cake smash?

I recommend booking your cake smash as soon as possible to ensure availability.  I need at least 2-3 weeks to plan out the setup but the more notice, the better.

2. When should the sesion take place?

Most cake smash sessions are done around the 11th month. This allows plenty of time for editing and receiving your images before their first birthday party.

3. Do I need to bring anything?

The only think you are required to bring is baby, a towel, and an outfit if you are providing your own.  I strive to make the experience as easy as possible for parents.

4. Do you provide the cake?

Yes! A simple cake is included with your cake smash session. It is designed to coordinate with your theme and setup.

5. Can siblings/family be included?

Yes and No.  If you book Collection One, family photos are included on a solid background of your choice.  Since it is its own backdrop, this is not included in the baby only package.  The cake smash set is too small for family/siblings.

6. What if my baby doesnt like the cake or wont smash it?

Don't worry at all! Every baby reacts differently. Some dive right in, some take their time, and some want nothing to do with it, and thats completely okay! I have plenty of tricks to encourage them, and we capture adorable expressions and personality no matter what.

7. Can we meet before the session?
